Complete with new places for residents to meet friends, shop, and eat, Takoma Junction will attract new customers that will support current businesses and increase Takoma Park’s tax base. In keeping with the Master Plan vision for Takoma Junction, we plan to transform an underused surface parking lot and auto service center into a village center. Using the rhythm of Carroll Avenue’s main street as inspiration, we incorporated a mix of building materials and textures into the design to give the feel of multiple buildings, rather than one large structure.
